Mayor Dan Albert and Members of the Monterey City Council

On behalf of the Alliance of Communities for Sustainable Fisheries, which is a consortium of commercial and recreational fishers, plus other marine interest representing fishing issues from Half Moon Bay to Moro Bay, we are writing to express our support for the staff recommendations made to the City Council regarding the National Marine Sanctuary Program. We are supportive of the National Marine Sanctuary Program and feel the recommendations brought forth will help it honor its past commitments and keep it within the mainstream of public support. We intend on attending the City Council meeting and making further remarks.

Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

Sincerely,

Mike Ricketts, Co-Chair, ACSF

Kathy Fosmark, Co-Chair, ACSF
