Dear Member of the Alliance of Communities for Sustainable Fisheries:

We are writing to you to update you about the work of the Alliance in getting with the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary on fishery issues and also the State of California’s Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA), Pacific Fisheries Management Council work on marine reserves, and the Presidential executive order which created an office to coordinate and enhance the nation’s marine protected areas.
